Flag Reference

Global flags

These flags apply to all commands.

Flag	Description
--repo [HOST/]OWNER/REPO	Target repository. When omitted, detected from git remote origin in the current directory.
--cache-dir string	Override the cache directory (default ~/.cache/ghx/cache/).
--storage string	Cache storage backend: sqlite (default) or file. Can also be set with GHX_STORAGE; --storage takes precedence.
--api-url string	Override the GitHub GraphQL API endpoint (for testing).
--log-level string	Log verbosity: debug, info (default), warn, or error. Messages go to stderr.
--telemetry	Record API and cache timings locally. On by default; --telemetry=false (or GHX_TELEMETRY=0) opts out for one run.
--telemetry-db string	Telemetry database path (also GHX_TELEMETRY_DB; default $XDG_DATA_HOME/ghx/telemetry.db).
--version, -v	Print version.
--help, -h	Show help.

cache

Flag	Default	Description
--cache-duration int	60	Minutes before the cache is considered stale
--force	false	Re-fetch even if the cache is still fresh (full fetch, not delta)
--since string		Only refresh entries created or updated since this date (YYYY-MM-DD, RFC3339, or YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM)
--type string	both	Which entries to refresh: issues, prs, or both
--retries int	2	Retries on transient errors (rate limits, 5xx); 0 means a single attempt. Total attempts = retries + 1

cache migrate

Copies cached repositories from the file backend into the SQLite backend (cache.db under the cache directory). The file cache is left in place and the migration is idempotent. Uses only the global --repo (to limit to one repository) and --cache-dir.

comment edit <comment-id> accepts the same --body / --body-file flags. comment delete <comment-id> takes no flags.

pr list

comment edit <comment-id> accepts --body / --body-file. comment delete <comment-id> takes no flags.

pr threads

pr review submit

Flag	Short	Default	Description

--review string			Specific review ID to submit (defaults to your current pending review)

pr review create <number>, pr review list <number>, and pr review discard <review-id> take no command-specific flags.

pr review stash

repo list

No command-specific flags. Uses only the global --cache-dir.

stats

Repositories are positional [HOST/]OWNER/REPO arguments. When omitted, the repository is resolved from --repo or the current directory's git remote.

telemetry

telemetry enable / telemetry disable / telemetry status

Persist or inspect the global on/off setting (stored in config.json beside the telemetry database).

telemetry disable	Stop recording by default; existing events are kept
telemetry status	Show the effective state, database path, config path, and event count

telemetry summary
